The current RBS finance finder tool is a complex tool to use, content heavy, not mobile optimised and doesn't offer a smooth journey into the sales fulfillment steps. Our job was to create an engaging, mobile first non-biased tool that would help customers identify the right business lending product for their needs.



Lead Designer on RBS/NatWest front line team, creating tools, brochureware and user journeys for the RBS & NatWest retail website. My role spanned UX and UI on this project, from the beginning working along side UX and taking responsibility for some of the routes in our initial explorations up to the final delivery of marked up assets for the development team.

Responsibilities included: Research, wireframing, prototyping in InVision, user testing with 'lookback', refinement, design in sketch, animation & interaction design in AE & Framer and delivery through Zeplin to developers.



The resulting tool moved away from the existing interaction patterns on the site, refining the journey into fewer and simpler steps yet remaining intuitive through careful consideration of user interaction, copy and animation.
